Davids tips Maboe Europe move
Orlando Pirates assistant coach Fadlu Davids says he is not surprised by Lebohang Maboe’s form at Mamelodi Sundowns.

Maboe has become a key member of coach Pitso Mosimane’s squad since joining the club from Maritzburg United at the start of the 2018/19 season.
Davids says Maboe deserves to play overseas ahead of their clash with the defending Absa Premiership champions on Monday.
“When I coached him, he already had a clear ambition to move overseas and I have always felt he has the ability to play in a top European league. I am not surprised by the way he has adapted to playing at Sundowns,” Davids told the media. “He has more to give. This match against Al Ahly is the test on how well each player can do if they want to put themselves in the market. And these games are the tests, not Pirates now on Monday, that is not the test if they want to go overseas,” he added.
“Lebohang Maboe, if he can perform against Al Ahly, the door is open to a move to overseas that.”
