McCarthy allegedly slaps Costa do Sol technical director
Cape Town City coach Benni McCarthy allegedly slapped the technical director of Costa do Sol in the tunnel following his side loss to the Mozambican side.

According to TimesLIVE, McCarthy got into a shouting match with the opposite bench in the first half before the alleged bust-up in the tunnel, where McCarthy is alleged to have slapped Arturo Faria, the technical director of Maputo club.
In a video on social media, McCarthy is seen confronting the Costa do Sol bench. He and Costa coach Fabio Costas are heard insulting each other in Spanish.
Ethiopian referee Belay Tadesse did not punish the parties.
City crushed out of the Caf Confederation Cup following a 2-1 defeat to the Maputo club.
City’s media officer Julian Bailey confirmed that there was an altercation between the two teams but denied that McCarthy slapped Faria.
