The veteran midfielder will be out of contract at Mamelodi Sundowns in June and it does not appear that he will stay on.

His contract talks have been delayed and the Mgosi Squad has heard that Jali managers have already started looking elsewhere for him.

“He is obviously an easy player to find a new club for because of his experience. But he is in no hurry to make the move as yet.

“There is an offer for him in KwaZulu-Natal, I am not sure if it’s AmaZulu or Richards Bay that are interested – it could be both.

“There is also one in Gauteng but I do not know the club there. But he will find another team very soon,” said the source.

Meanwhile, as previously reported by Phakaaathi, rumours that Jali arrived at Sundowns training reeking of alcohol has removed Kaizer Chiefs from his list of his admirers.

Chiefs were reportedly among the top sides watching Jali’s situation at Sundowns with keen interest.

The Naturena side were expected to swoop and bring Jali to their camp if he cut ties with Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season.

Jali’s contract at Sundowns ends in June and he will then be available to sign for any team who wants him on a free transfer.

“If he was on the list of players Chiefs were looking at, then it is not going to happen any more,” a source said.
