Mixed feelings for Nyirenda after SuperSport win

Baroka FC coach Wedson Nyirenda was pleased by his side's recent win over SuperSport United but feels they need to up the tempo.

Nyirenda, however, believes that his side would be in the top eight by now if they had converted all the chances they created.

“I think concentration levels were too low in our team in the past three games. We worked on it, we spoke about it so much, we psyched them. We had to take a 4-day camp last week in Pretoria just to take them away to other voices. Because usually African player is an African player, when you have a week resting without a game, they will do all sorts of things. So I think we have seen discipline a lot this time and I think that camp worked a lot of wonders,” Nyirenda was quoted as saying by Limsportzone.

The win against SuperSport saw Baroka move out of the relegation zone into position 12 on the log table.

Bakgaga are not out of the woods yet though as they lead 15th-placed Free State Stars by only two points.
