REVEALED: Why Teko left Sundowns
A clash of personalities between Teko Modise and coach Pitso Mosimane at Mamelodi Sundowns has been revealed as the real reason why the 34-year-old has left the Tshwane giants.

A Phakaaathi source claims that Modise never took kindly to Mosimane’s constant references to his lavish lifestyle whenever he illustrated a point about how players should live their lives.
“Pitso would make an example of Teko buying cars as something which players should not do. He would ask why Teko why he didn’t buy property instead of a car and maker a joke about it while telling the whole team that it was a recipe for disaster, pointing to many former players ending up poor.
“Even when he offered Teko a year’s extension, he said he knew he would go buy a new car once he received his signing-on fees,” said the source.
