Emalahleni police are looking for suspects who shot and killed a businesswoman before speeding off in her new vehicle, Mpumalanga News reports.
According to the police, the deceased, Helen Fanourakis, 43, arrived at her house at Del Judor yesterday in the evening where she was approached by unknown men at her gate. She was then shot twice before they fled the scene with her vehicle, a Mazda BT 50.
The police were called to the scene and she was certified dead. The vehicle was later found abandoned approximately 10 kilometres away.
Police are investigating a murder and are making an earnest appeal to anyone who may be able to assist in the investigation to contact Lieutenant Colonel Simon Thobejane on 079 891 5845 or the SAPS Crime Stop number, 08600 10111.
