Emtee’s wife Nicole drops assault case against him, leaves tongues wagging on Twitter
Many social media users have accused Nicole of lying about the abuse, while others say they are both toxic and need to separate.

Emtee’s wife Nicole Chinsamy has dropped the assault case against him, and this has since sparked mixed reactions on social media.
In March this year, Nicole put her husband on blast, accusing him of abuse on an Instagram Live video. The couple was seen having a heated argument in front of the camera, where Nicole revealed that Emtee beat her up on Valentine’s Day.
“This is what he did to me…Show them what you did to me, how you beat me up on Valentine’s Day here’s the proof,” said Nicole showing a picture of her scars.
On March 8, Emtee handed himself over to the police and was charged with assault. However, this week, Sunday Word reported that the charges against him are withdrawn, after he appeared in court on Tuesday last week.
In a statement seen by the publication, Nicole said she forgave the rapper for the sake of their kids. The pair have two sons, Avery (8) and Logan (5).
“On 03/03/2023, I opened a common assault case under domestic violence against my husband, Mthembeni Ndebele. He was arrested on 08/03/2023. Therefore, I hereby wish to withdraw the charges against Mthembeni Ndevu. I forgave him for the sake of my kids,” Nicole said.

“They are both toxic”
Social media users have since reacted to the news. Many have accused Nicole of lying about the abuse, while others said they are both toxic and need to separate.
More abuse allegations
In 2020, Emtee took to Twitter to open up about the toxicity of his marriage. He said he wanted out of the relationship before “it ends in tears”.
Emtee also alleged that Nicole’s family has been middling into his marriage, accusing them of abusing him.
“I do not want anything now. She calls her very buff brother, uncles, and even her mother to come and hit me. Her mother choked me, and I saw the evil in her as she was holding me by the throat against the wall. I will die for things I do not know about because of this woman. I don’t know why she always tryna make me feel like I ain’t sh*t when I’m a goat of note. I’m currently tweeting from my big homie crib cos she took the keys to my spot and went to her parents’ naso,” he tweeted.
Nicole later released a statement denying the accusations.
