International football star Cristiano Ronaldo will be adding more future football players to his family lineage soon and his fans are buzzing with excitement.
The star took to social media to announce to his 360 million followers that he and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, are expecting twins.
Cristiano posted a picture of himself with Georgina in the first frame holding up the scans which show their two babies, and a picture of himself with his other four children in the second frame, chilling in their jacuzzi at their home.
The social media post is captioned: “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you.”
The couples’ loved ones all took to the comments section to congratulate them on their announcement.
The news of Georgina’s pregnancy comes after Ronaldo’s decision to move his family out of their stunning Manchester mansion, which they had been living in for only a couple of days, because of the animal sounds that he and his family could hear from the countryside.
A source told The Sun that although Ronaldo was happy with the actual house, he could not stay there much longer because resting and recovery after football games is very important to him, and he cannot get the rest he needs with the incessant animal noises.
Rodriguez and Ronaldo have been dating since 2016 when they met in a Gucci store which she was working in as a shop assistant.
Talking to The Sun, Georgina said spending time with the football star outside of her work environment was more relaxed, and seeing him again after their first encounter felt like love at first sight.
“Our first meeting was at Gucci, where I worked as a sales assistant. Days later, we saw each other again at another brand’s event.
“It was then that we could talk in a relaxed atmosphere, outside my work environment. It was love at first sight for both,” said Rodriguez.
When the couple met, Cristiano already had a son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.
The two welcomed their first child together, Alana Martina Ronaldo on 12 November 2017, after Ronaldo welcomed twins, Eva and Mateo in June 2017, who are rumoured to have been birthed by a surrogate mother.
