Baroka FC have signed former Alexander United goalkeeper Ayanda Dlamini, his representative Siya Mareke of Yo Boy management confirmed to Phakaaathi.
The 25-year-old KwaZulu-Natal-born shot-stopper impressed the Limpopo-based team’s technical staff during his trial with the club.
“Ayanda signed quite a good deal with Baroka. He is a quite a good prospect, and the team decided to give him a chance see what he can bring to the team despite not having played in the Absa Premiership League,” said Mareke.
“He is quite a good player, and he is delighted to have signed with Baroka. We (Yo Boy Management) are happy with the club’s management for making the deal go smooth.”
Dlamini spent a year playing for Alexander United, and before then, the shot-stopper played for Amajuba United, which is also competing in the second division in KZN, spending almost six years at the club.
