Banyana star Kgatlana continues with her magic in China

The Banyana star came on as a second half substitute to score the winning the goal in the 91st minute.

Thembi Kgatlana continues to impress at her new club Beijing BG Phoenix FC after helping her side saunter into the semifinals of the CFA tournament following a 2-1 victory over Shandong on Tuesday.

The Banyana star came on as a second half substitute to score the winning the goal in the 91st minute.

This was Kgatlana’s third goal at the China-based club in four games, having moved to Asia in February together with Banyana teammate Linda Motlhalo.

The pair are not with the senior national women’s team at the moment with the team having departed to the US on Monday for a friendly match against the host nation and current Fifa Women’s World Cup in France starting in June 7.

However, they are expected to be in the final squad that will be representing South Africa at the global tournament.
