The 19-year old versatile player, who plays as a striker and is also capable of playing on the wings, was unveiled by Chiefs at the team’s media open day on Wednesday.

“I am excited and over the moon to be joining a big club like Chiefs. I am honoured to be part of this exciting brand. The facilities here are amazing and this will help take my game to the next level,” the player was quoted on the club’s website.

Chiefs coach Steve Komphela believes the youngster is a good asset for Chiefs and he will bring value to the club.

“Ryan is one for the future and he will give us options as a striker and on the flanks,” said Komphela.

“He played a few games for Maritzburg towards the end of last season and watching his play, he ticks all the boxes. He has strong qualities and with proper integration into the Chiefs way, he will bring value to the team.”
