He adds that he is working for the team’s success rather than personal glory.

The Zimbabwean was the hero of the night as he netted three times to give Pirates a 3-1 win over Golden Arrows in their opening Absa Premiership clash at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday night.

“We are happy with the result because people had written us off in preseason. But we are keeping calm and going game by game,” said Ndoro after the game.

“I want to thank God for getting us through this game, and also having a great coach is a bonus because he makes us play. I’m not concerned with how many goals I score. I’m more concerned with the team winning games. I’m not in it for personal glory.”

Ndoro said Bucs’ new coach Muhsin Ertugral was doing all the right things to get the best out of his team.

“We have a great coach who knows what he is doing. He supports us the same and if we do well we are applauded but if not we are chased.

“All our goals came from the training ground. It was coordinated movement,” he said.
