Baxter says he has no intention of signing the former Chiefs star, who was a regular start during his coaching days at Amakhosi.

Masango was spotted at United’s training grounds, where he is said to be keeping fit before during the festive break and is expected to return to Danish team Randers FC.

The former Bafana Bafana coach admits that he would like to have Masango in his squad should the winger decide to leave his team in Denmark. However. the player is out of his price range as things stand.

“Mandla is training with us. I love Mandla to bits; he is a great lad. He is training with us to keep himself fit. If I could sign him I would do it in a heartbeat. If a situation came where he wanted to leave his Danish club and we had the budget, then I would be interested. But at the moment he is training with us,” said Baxter.
