Orlando Pirates Coach Eric Tinkler is aware of the magnitude of Saturday’s Caf Confederation Cup final game against Etoile du Sahel.
Pirates managed to reach the final, making it their second continental cup final in as many seasons.
“It is the biggest game of my coaching career. The chairman told me I should leave a legacy and this is an opportunity to do that,” said Tinkler.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for me and the players to leave a legacy.”
Tinkler marshaled a rigorous training session at the Rand Stadium on Wednesday morning.
Brighton Mhlongo and Sifiso Myeni, who have recovered from their injuries, took part in the training session.
Tinkler credited Mhlongo’s positivity for his swift return to training after sustaining an injury that usually keeps players out for a couple of months.
“Brighton is where he is because of the positive mentality that he has. It wasn’t an easy period for him.”
