Chiefs occupy fourth place on the league table having collected 25 points in 14 games, Amakhosi are five points adrift of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

“Don’t rule  us out, because we are working so hard to climb up the ladder, we are taking it one step at a time, and we don’t want to rush to our destination. We just need to take our journey one step at a time,” said Katsande.

Katsande thinks all the changes that happened at the club this season have worked to their advantage. The arrival of a new coach and a new central defensive pairing has improved the team’s fortunes as they reached two domestic cup finals registering one loss in league games.

“There are a lot of changes in the team, I think the new coach (Steve Komphela) came in and he is doing very well. Two cup finals in one season, I think he just needs the support of everybody, from the player to the supporters to rally behind him,” said Katsande.
