A bulk of Owen da Gama’s Under-23 national team have reported for camp, with only Mamelodi Sundowns Keagan Dolly and Ajax Cape Town’s Abbubaker Mobara yet to join the rest of their teammates in camp.

However, the players are expected to report to report for camp by tonight, with the team travelling to Maceio in the state of Alagoas, Brazil tomorrow for their friendly match with the Brazilians scheduled for Sunday, 27 March 2016 at Rei Pele Stadium.

“We are happy that the bulk of the players have reported for camp; only two players who have not reported to camp yet. Keagan Dolly will only report for camp tonight after his team’s continental participation this past weekend, while Abbubaker Mobara has also not arrived,” Da Gama told the Safa website.

Europe based players Kgosietsile Nthe, Lebogang Mothiba and Lebogang Phiri are expected to join the team in Brazil on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Golden Arrows pair of Andile Fikizolo and Siyabonga Dube have been replaced by Cape Town All Stars midfielder Paseke Mako and Santos FC defender Iqraan Reyners respectively due to their MDC Championship tournament in Holland.

The game is part of Da Gama’s preparations for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games to be played in August.
