Nedbank Ke Yona Team goalkeeper Mduduzi Khumalo says he looks up to Kaizer Chiefs shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune but believes he can do better than the Bafana Bafana keeper.

“Itumeleng Khune is my Idol, I think we have so many similarities in terms of our play like our distribution of the ball. I know I can do better than him, I just need to work hard, but I am confident in my abilities,” said the shot-stopper.

Khumalo, who hails from KwaZulu-Natal played for the now dissolved Mpumalanga Black Aces reserves last season and was also coached by former Bafana Bafana defender Bradley Carnell while he was still studying at the University of Johannesburg.

The Ke Yona keeper will be looking to display his goalkeeping skills when his team takes on SuperSport United at the Makhulong Stadium on Sunday.
