“There’s excitement in the club despite the unwarranted displays and position. We are excited with the prospects of competing in the Caf Confederation Cup. Preparations are underway. We have just finalized our registration. We are on track in terms of our plans. We are looking forward to determined and better displays,” Mazingiza was quoted on the club’s website.

Mazingiza also added that there is about five spaces left to register more players and should head coach Cavin Johnson get the players he wants, he will register them.

“Everybody is registered in terms of who is supposed to be there. We have got about five spaces. If we are lucky to get the players that the coach desires, we are likely to register them for the competition.”

Dikwena qualified to compete for the continental tournament after finishing on position three in the league last season.

They will be joined by SuperSport United, who won the Nedbank Cup.
