Michel has been with The Citizen since 2000. Alongside his Multimedia Editor duties he works as a photographer covering news assignments from violent protests to human interest stories and offbeat features. His work has been recognised in the Sony Profoto Awards and the Standard Bank Sikuvile Journalism Awards. He holds a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Journalism.
